Wearing the Style

Styling Your Western Wear Look

In my last blog I talked about the fusion of Indian and Western styles to give that confident and elegant look, but accept that may not always be everyone’s preference. Sometimes a western outfit is the best look for a particular occasion, and that is the focus of this post.

As part of our continuing search for design inspiration, we recently visited MODA UK – the UK’s largest fashion trade exhibition, which is known as the number one meeting point for the UK fashion industry. This exhibition offers visitors and exhibitors a full programme of events, including catwalk sessions that showcase the key fashion trends. MODA inspired us to add western style dresses to our collection of Indo-Western garments. The reason for this was to give our customers a choice of both western and Indo-Western wear, and to make the decision-making processes a little easier.

Women are usually very particular about the way they look, and our self-confidence is often partly dependent on the clothes we wear. It’s about feeling and looking confident, but at the same time being comfortable. At Laality, we have introduced a collection of western garments incorporating silks, chiffon, nets and rayon fabrics with embroidery and beads to give an ethnic feel. The following sections will give you some ideas on how to mix and match our western garments and accessories, to create an individual look that shows you at your best.

Chiffon is great to have in your wardrobe. This light and flowing fabric is both comfortable and flattering. It provides a light alternative for the summer months, giving a graceful and elegant look.
